ANSEL ADAMS PHOTOGRAPHS

Ever since my college days, I have always felt that photos by Ansel Adams were some of the nicest pictures of nature that there are. Of course, I was an environmental studies major, so it was almost required to have Ansel Adams posters up on the wall, but I outdid everyone there. I had my room literally covered in Ansel Adams photographs, from the floor to the ceiling. I had books of old Ansel Adams photographs on my coffee table and between the cookbooks in the kitchen. I even had an Ansel Adams photograph on the bathroom wall. And my whole bedroom was covered by one giant Ansel Adams photograph depicting some mountain or other – I think that it was one of the Grand Tetons, but I am not sure. Anyway, the point is that I have always simply loved Ansel Adams photographs, if you could not figure that out by now.

If you are not familiar with Ansel Adams, you are missing out on a really neat and interesting artist and explorer. Ansel Adams photographs depict everywhere he explored in the great wide open, and the man explored almost everything from sea to shining sea. A lot of people do not know how much work, and how much art goes into pictures, but they would really be surprised if they were to find out. The eye of the photographer is so very important if the picture is to be truly a work of art, and not just another boring photo. When you look into Ansel Adams photographs, you can see what a great eye he had. The man was just obsessed with all of the beauty of nature, and Ansel Adams photographs show that better than anything else that I know of.

If you have never looked at Ansel Adams photographs before, and my article has not convinced you that you simply must, I do not know what there is that will. You just have to check him out. The great thing about Ansel Adams photographs, besides their outstanding beauty, is the fact that they are so easy to get a look at. They are literally all over the Internet, and a lot of museums out there have them as well. There is no reason not to check them out, and I bet that they will make a big difference in your life. I know that they did in mine!
