When is the last time that you were in a restroom and noticed the bathroom mirror medicine cabinet? You probably have not even noticed them since you last had to clean the bathroom mirror. Nonetheless, the right bathroom medicine cabinet can make a big difference in the appearance of your bathroom. It is one of those aspects of bathroom design that is almost invisible, but can make a subtle difference in your mood nonetheless.
It is hard to get worked up about bathroom furniture. Even if you have fancy bathroom pedestal sinks, how excited can you really get about it? After all, you don't sit in the bathroom and read a book. You don't spend hours browsing through the bathroom medicine cabinets and noticing how spacious and well designed they are. You go into the bathroom, do your business, wash up, and leave. Unless you have replaced your bathroom medicine cabinets, it probably won't even occur to you how pleasant it can be to have nice ones.
When I replaced my bathroom medicine cabinet, I did not do it because I wanted to. I did it because I had to. The inside of the bathroom medicine cabinets were all rusted out. Up until that point, the bathroom renovation that I had been working on for the past eight months seemed to be incomplete. I had done all the work that I wanted to do, but something still felt off. Who would have guessed that it was the bathroom medicine cabinets? It just goes to show you that it is important to pay attention to all of the details.
